my answers for today--sorry so late
1) "For you died"
I guess she is looking for the fact that when we choose to follow Christ we give up our earthly desires.
2)I think any time you have a passage you have to look at the whole thing and in these situations, the verse goes together. Being in Christ means being NOT IN the world.
3)Being hidden with Christ in God--to me this means I am being protected by them--not necessarily physically--but spiritually--if I keep my focus right, I will do what is right.
4)I honestly have no idea what she is getting at here--my best guess is that our "life" is "invisible" because we no longer live for ourselves.
4b)the unseen is eternal--we can't always see what we believe in, but it doesn't change that it is there.
Jesus died for us and perfected our faith through His life and death.

I came up with the same idea for number 4, Sarah. It's as if as we mature spiritually we morph into Christ - or grow up into Him as Ephesians says.

My answers are generally the same as Sarah's. I did have a few other comments.

#3- I put to be "hidden in God" is to be treasured by him, to be more of him and less of the world.

#4a-It is ok if the world see's us as "invisible", we are not working for more money, more recognition, or to get ahead in men's eyes. I think of those people in this world that are ok lying, stealing, etc just to get ahead and make fun of us for being ok just plugging along. We can take comfort are not invisible to God.

#4b- our faith and belief can't just stop in believeing there is a "higher power". We must believe it all, that God created the world, that Christ came and lived & died for us and that he ascended to God's right hand. Our faith also tells others that we believe God is still working in our lives.
