Funny Friday

As Christians we have such a wonderful hope! Each day brings us closer to heaven, no matter what might happen. Because of this we can continually rejoice. Now that joy is a spiritual one and not necessarily one that causes laughter; however, because of this joy we can find things to laugh at. Today I want you to look around you and find the humor in this temporary life. There are so many things that can make us smile if we can just relax and enjoy them. Let me know what you see!

Thankful Thursday

Today as you do your studies, I would like for you to think about what you are thankful for in relation to that study. I am finishing John today. I am so thankful that Jesus loved me and His Father enough to go through that terrible crucifixion. Dave said something to me the other day that really made me stop and think - how powerful the flesh is if Jesus, truly diety, was tempted by it. It seems love is stronger than even the power of the flesh.

Wonderful Wednesday

That early bird Julie beat me again this morning. :) Waiting on the Lord...a biblical concept and command that Audrey posted yesterday. Do any of you have stories you are willing to share about waiting on the Lord? For myself, living with a dear man who struggles with depression has been a great opportunity to learn to wait on the Lord to work in his life. I have come to truly know that His timing is not my timing (!) but his timing is perfect.

Just another manic Monday...

Hello ladies. It's another great week to work in the kingdom and educate ourselves so the Spirit can have more effect in our lives. Julie already posted this morning so you can read her post on Friday's blog from last week. She really wants you all to keep her accountable - as I need you to keep ME accountable. So if you haven't been studying, don't give up! Just jump in today and go, go, go. Don't try to "catch up" but just start again.
