As each one has received a gift, minister to one another, as good steward of the manifold wisdom of God...As each one has received a gift, minister to one another, as a good steward of the manifold grace of God...I'll keep trying

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience

Man, I CANNOT remember the first one at all...it is so sad that my brain is like a sieve...

Okay, I'm back...

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works... Heb. 10:24

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience...James 1:2-3

As each one as received a gift, minister to one another, as a good steward of the manifold grace of God...I Pet. 4:10 (still not quite right, I'll keep working on it)

I really want to be able to recall these verses when I need them!

Hi Ladies! My weeks seem to be flying by, and I am sorry I haven't been online yet this week.

Here are today's answers:
#7 - We discover that Barnabas is considered and encourager because he was full of the Holy Spirit and faith. I went beyond this verse however and noted that in previous verses, Barnabas encouraged the Christians with purpose of heart to continue in the Lord. So, I was thinking that this meant that he was encouraging them to not just do all the actions, but to ensure that their heart was purposeful for God.

I also noticed that in Acts 4:37, Barnabas is noted as selling his property and laying it at the apostles feet. So, it seems that he not only had the spirit of enouragement about him, but also his actions.

#8 - Paul is noted for his good works in Acts 20:2. He encouraged with words, and in the previous verse it notes that he also embraced the disciples before he left Macedonia. Both of these actions show his love for the Christians he was working with.
