1 Thess 1:3 - Hope in Jesus inspired the endurance of the Thessalonians.
James 5:11 - Job is the biblical character possessing hupomone. Job suffered the death of his children, servants, and wealth then suffering physically with boils over his whole body. Job was able to endure because he had hope in God.
Job 23:8-10 – Job took comfort when he couldn’t find God from knowing that God knows where Job is.
Romans 8:28 - ALL THINGS work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:29 - Our hope is to be conformed into His image.
2 Cor 3:18 – we are being transformed into His likeness by the Lord
Heb 10:35-36 – after doing the will of God, receiving the promise.
Heb 12:1-2 – looking unto Jesus as we run the race. (following his example)
James 1:2-4 – trials produce patience so we become mature and complete.
boy oh boy...sorry girls. This whole move thing is sure throwing a kink in my life!! I am done for today and I'm making plans for when to do my lesson tomorrow--so hopefully I will post at least twice this week! (: The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.
