As for the study, I haven't made up my mind. Sometimes I like it, sometimes not. This week's lessons seem to be mostly her thoughts from her research. Not as much us digging in the Bible, discovering for ourselves. I did like today's lesson, mainly because in her context, I really thought about the advantages opened to Satan from unforgiveness - discovering that the road could lead me far away from God. That is a price too high to pay - much better to work on forgiving, if I have a problem with it. So to answer Ann's question, I am not sure about the study.
I hear you, Julie. I feel there has been quite a bit of "overlooking" to do because of her views on the Holy Spirit, but overall, she makes some very valid points, and definitely some that I haven't considered before...after 50 years of Bible study, that's always exciting!
I agree about today's lesson. I want to be more diligent about searching my heart to make sure I'm not holding any grudges or bitterness against anyone, so Satan doesn't have THAT to hold over me!
