3. David thanked God for answering his pleas and giving him strength in his soul. So God will give His children strength when we ask for it.
4. Another great source of encouragement is the fact that God cannot lie, and promised eternal life with Him in heaven to all who will obey, so we have an "anchor for the soul", which is our hope of salvation. I love that phrase "anchor for the soul". It really does make me feel more secure in my hope...very encouraging!
