Wednesday again

Did you enjoy that amazing thunderstorm last night? Did it remind you of God's amazing power - that same power that can work in our lives if we allow it? Sarah reminded us yesterday that being a disciple is not a passive thing. We are not saved by our works, but we are expected to work and work hard. "Be diligent" is a common command in the New Testament, but God is there with His mighty power to help us succeed in our life's adventure. (But no, Audrey, that doesn't include foodness...hahahaha.)

Done for today.

Our Ephesians study today included one of my favorite verses:

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Eph 3:20-21

I just love the way he describes what God can do. "Exceedingly abundantly more" is a pretty awesome thought.
