Thursday

As I finished 1 Corinthians I was comforted and excited to read about the bodies we will have at the resurrection. A spiritual body - one that doesn't decay. As I grow older that seems a better and more desirable thing all the time. But first I have to die. I read an article once that quoted a nurse as saying that dieing hurts. I would imagine that being born also hurts. Passages like these assure me that it's all worth it. We have a glorious hope!

Good Morning, Ladies. Read Psalm 146-150.

146 - Praise the Lord - a list of the many things He does for us.
147-Praise is pleasant and beautiful - more of what God does
148-The whole creation, Praise the Lord!
149-Saints, Praise the Lord; He takes pleasure in us.
150-Praise the Lord!!!

Sometimes the book has assignments for me to do or questions to answer. Today was to do a praise psalm patterned after 146, God in my life, past, present and future. So here it is:

Praise the Lord for His creation;
the rainbow and the sunset
Snow and tree, penguin and me.
Praise Him for Roger and Jannae
for providing me a family,
both physically and spiritually.
Praise the Lord for His Son
who loved me to leave His home
who loved me to die for me
who loves me today and always.
Praise the Lord for His word
which shows me the way.
Praise the Lord for His love,
His glory and greatness.
Praise the Lord!!

Debbie is probably uploading Friday's page right now but I am early - Read Proverbs 1-4. This book is a book of constrasts - black and white ones - no grey areas.

Wisdom vs evil
Blessings vs Cursing
Understanding vs ignorance/stupidity
Light vs darkness
Life vs death
