Good morning, ladies. It is a wonderful day! (yes, I know it is raining but I just feel good right now!)
1. The main theme of this section it - put off the old, put on the new.
2. This section relates to the 'so walk in Him'. This passage describes our new walk and teaches (as you have been taught) us how and what to grow in our faith.
3. My outline:
5-9 Those deeds that we had before that were leading us to destruction
10-11 Where the knowledge is to put on the new man who is the image of Christ
12-14 What we put on as the chosen one of God
Memory verses:
Colossians 2:6-7 As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Colossians 3:1-4 So you have been raised with Christ, seek those things above where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things on the earth. For you died, and you are with Christ, who is our life. When Christ appears, you will also appear with Him in glory.
IF THEN - why can't I remember that!?! still need work on verse 3, mixing it up with verse 4.

I came up with basically the same answers so we MUST be right.
