sorry I didn't post yesterday...long day

-Jesus' peace is the peace that has been given to us
-The peace of God passes all understanding and guards our hearts and minds
-Jesus was 12 when his parents lost him
-They lived more than a day's journey away
-They searched for 3 days before they found him
-He was talking to teachers in the temple and asking them questions
-Jesus mother asked him, "Why did you do this; we've been worried!"
-Jesus wasn't anxious because He was doing His Father's business
-Passover was the feast being observed
-His understanding and answers amazed the people
-Jesus is OUR Passover
-Jesus asked Philip, "Where will we buy bread?"
-5 small barley loaves, 2 fish
-Jesus told the people to sit down
-Jesus distributed the food to the disciples, who distributed it to the people
-12 baskets were filled with bread pieces leftover
-Jesus withdrew because He knew they were about to take Him and forceably make Him king
-The Father knows what we need before we even ask
-The Father takes care of the animals and plants and cares for us much more, and knows what we need
-He gave His Son for us, so naturally He will supply all we need

It's such a comfort to be reminded that God loves me and will always take care of me. It does relieve a lot of anxiety to think about that!

ahhh...back in the swing of things! Done for today, I am going to try to catch up on this week. Speaking of peace--I just had a long conversation w/my brother-it amazes me how very little peace he has and I really think a lot of it has to do with the choices he is making that are so opposite God's will-he has no clarity that God will take care of his needs
