Well, it is good to be back. Last week I did several lessons a day so I could get caught up.

Luke 10:17-20 The 70/72 were joyful because of the results of the power they received; seeing even the demons being in subjection. But Jesus pointed out that they should be joyful that their names are written in heaven.

Psalm 51:12 David’s source of joy was God’s salvation

Revelation 7:10 Salvation belongs to God and to the Lamb

Salvation is described as God’s because He is the one who provides it, through His Son.

Joy = chara

Hebrews 12:18-24 The city of the living God is Jerusalem. It is the general assembly. The names written in heaven are the church of the firstborn.

My two were ‘to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant’ and ‘ to the blood that speaks better’ (if I had to choose only two)

Revelation 13:8 Record of the names is called the Book of Life, which belongs to the Lamb. The names not written in the Book are those who worship the beast.

Revelation 17:8 The names have been written in the Book of Life since the foundation of the world.

Revelation 3:5 Those who overcome will be clothed in white and not have their name blotted out of the Book of Life.

Revelation 21:22-27 from this passage, I saw brightness, lots of people, peace.

Revelation 20:11-15 We have been saved from being cast in to the lake of fire and the second death. (see comment below)

Psalm 39:4-7 it is unknown how long we will be here on earth.

We will be in heaven forever.

We will be able to be in heaven because our name is in the Book of Life.

God put our name in the book from the foundation of the world.

Luke 10:20 I need to rejoice because my name is in the Book of Life.

Ps 43:3-4 God is called my joy and my delight.

I most enjoy about God is his mercy.

My comment from Rev 20 – I saw a picture of all these books detailing my deeds on earth, good and bad. All were found wanting. But then they looked into the Book of Life and found my name so I won’t be cast into the lake of fire and suffer the second death. And I am only in that Book because of God’s grace. That makes me very joyful!!!!
