8:10b - 'trust like a spider's web' - I liked the visual image. THis trust is flimsy, not going to hold up in time of trouble.
9:16 - This struck me as funny. You talk to God, then when he answers, you don't believe?
10:4b - 'do You see as man sees?' - Actually, No. - because we don't see what God sees. Reminds me of God talking with Samuel when he was finding out who the next king would be. God told him He was looking at the heart, not physical appearance.
10:8 - Another verse I liked - our body IS an intricate untiy. Reminds me of the church, His body on earth, also an intricate unity.
Hi girls. Done for today with the Acts worksheet--this lesson today was a little more interesting for me (I have a hard time w/Acts but getting better). Diving into the differences a roman citizen had helped me understand so much more of how the end of Paul's life was different than the other apostles simply because of his rights. It always has seemed so funny to me that Paul simply stating that fact made those in control nervous--but I am getting it a little more (finally--seriously I am sure people have told me all of this before, I just sometimes comprehend differently).
