Read Job 11-14.

I am so thankful that we have the whole Bible. Job and his friends have only partial info so their understanding of God is limited. When I read what they say, I have this, 'Yes, but...' Of course, I also have these 'what?' - like verse 11:12 For an empty-headed man will be wise, When a wild donkey's colt is born a man.

done for today.
And Yes-Julie--what exactly DOES that mean in vs 12??

Well, I am not sure but I read the context over and over, meditated on it during the drive to school and I had a note to Romans 1:22. So this is what I came up with: God is wise and man is deceitful and wicked. A fool (empty-headed man) can be tricked into believing anything. I need to continue looking to God's wisdom to check my beliefs.

Caution: this verse is spoken by Zophar, one of the friends. So he (and therefore, me) may not know what we are talking about.
