26 For He instructs him in right judgment, His God teaches him.
29 This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.
Also, reminded of the theme
- the created thing trying to tell the creator what to do - trusting in the wrong people/thing - again, what happens when you don't follow God and when you do
And, yuck, the description of drunkeness , the visual image created, is gross. Don't want to be there!
Done for today. Interesting lesson about how often times we jump in to rescue whenever we see that someone may "need" something instead of waiting and praying. Not that helping people is wrong, but making sure you are praying for guidance first is important--there are times that particular person may be learning a lesson and jumping to the rescue doesn't always provide that lesson. I know I have a tendency to try to jump to "help" instead of gathering all of the information and praying first. hmmm...something more to think about. I wrote my prayers Sat night but not Sun or Mon--nuts! Still getting used to this! But I do like it. And Julie, regarding your comment last week-I totally agree about looking back and noticing all of the prayers that have been answered (although not always in the way I thought they would be) being so valuable. I know I did that a couple of years ago and I was shocked at the things I had forgotten I was praying about that had been settled.

Read Isaiah 28-30.
Two verses stood out to me this morning
26 For He instructs him in right judgment, His God teaches him.
29 This also comes from the Lord of hosts, Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.

eeek! I got all excited that at the last minute aaron got the night off last night and forgot to do my lesson! I will get on it and post later today
I did do my reading yesterday but I did it from bed. Then I forgot to post this morning that I had done it. Oopsie.
So my verse for thought from my reading last night is Proverbs 16:32
"He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city."
