Yea!!! We finally are able to start studying together again. To those of you who are new, feel free to post any comments or questions any day of the week. You are only REQUIRED to post on your day which is listed to the left. On your day you are to post the answers to the questions in the book or whatever the assignment for that day may be. We are taking a week before we start the book to read through the book of Colossians. On your day to post, I would like you to choose one word to research from the day's reading and post what you have learned for the rest of us. You might include the reason you picked that word in your post.

Here's my word for today. It comes from verse 11 and is translated patience in the KJV. The word is pronounced "hupomone" and means "cheerful endurance." Now I don't always think of patience as cheerful - but that's what this word means and it goes along with the following phrase, "longsuffering with joyfullness." This is the kind of patience that is worthy of the Lord.
I read my chapter, but I had to read it about 3 times to get anything out of it...I was babysitting at the time :)
